Test Time!

Found this puzzle on
Kimberly's blog, and took the time to try to figure it out. Supposedly Albert Einstein created it and said that only those with an intelligence quotient of 98% and higher should be able to solve it. I was able to solve it in 10 minutes. Can you?

The Brit lives in the red house.
The Swede keeps dogs as pets.
The Dane drinks tea.
The green house is to the left of the white house.
The owner of the green house drinks coffee.
The man who smokes Pall Mall keeps birds.
The owner of the yellow house smokes Dunhill.
The man living in the house right in the center drinks milk.
The Norwegian lives in the first house.
The man who smokes Blends lives next to the man who keeps cats.
The man who keeps horses lives next to the man who smokes Dunhill.
The man who smokes Blue Master drinks beer.
The German smokes Prince.
The Norwegian lives next to the blue house.
The man who smokes Blends has a neighbor who drinks water.

Who keeps the fish?

I'll steal
Kimberly's idea (you don't mind, do you?) and post the answer in the comments section. No peaking!

Alright, are you ready?!?!

The answer: The German has the Fish

Starting from the first house:

Norwegian, Yellow, Water, Dunhill Cats

Dane, Blue, Tea, Blends, Horses

Brit, Red, Milk, PallMall, Birds

German, Green, Coffee, Prince, Fish

Swede, White, Beer, Blue Master, Dog

Now, how many of you actually solved it? And how many just looked at the answer? And if you did solve it, how long did it take you?

Nah, I don't mind in the least! I had fun with that one - I just love puzzles and word problems. Can not remember how long it took me - was at work and while I was just thumb twiddling since my computer was down I was getting calls and people stopping by.
