Procrastination

For those of you anxiously awaiting another post for me, you're in luck! Fortunately for you, I have a migraine, at work. And, working on proposals with a migraine, doesn't quite work so well. So, I took my last Zomig, and I'm hanging out waiting for it to kick in. Keep your fingers crossed that it takes away the migraine and just leaves me dizzy and drowsy. Otherwise, the migraine tends to get worse and I get sick. Don't want that, now do we?

On the crochet front, I've seemed to get quite a bit accomplished lately. I've managed to start on my cathedral window afghan and I'm really liking the way it's turning out so far. Unfortunately I have a bunch of stuff to do for Christmas, and with Secret Pals and the square swap, I'm going to have to put off the afghan for a while. Tell me what you think of it...

I've also finished 11 more squares - that puts me at 22 of my 40. Over halfway there! Need to sit down and finish those up. Maybe I can do that this weekend and just get it done and over with. Here are the squares for your viewing pleasure...

I've also finished some rectagular shawls for Christmas. Not so sure what I think of them. The yarn was kind of expensive, and I hate to waste it, but I just don't know if the people that I made them for will wear them or not. I keep going back and forth, and my husband is of no help! Here are the shawls...

I think that's about it on the crochet front. Now I'm going to go home and lie down. Hope you are all doing better than I am right now!

Oh Jenn, Judy reminded me to read your Blog. Your squares are so nice and I love the Cathedral Window afghan. I would love that pattern. The schawls are beautiful.

How neat to read about your visit, and to see my name mentioned.

Love,
Aunt Shirley

What beautiful work. Your cathedral ghan is stunning. I really love those colors. And the squares look great too. And I love the shawls- that yarn looks so soft.

Those shawls look so soft! They will be great to snuggle under for a quick read. Whoever you give them too will love them, honestly. Great job on the squares ( love the colors) and your Cathedral Window, WOW!
